Ngibat, Tinglayan, Kalinga

We use to go to Basao in 2007 and 2008 to conduct Vacation Bible School. But this year, due to the inevitable landslide somewhere in Banaue, our team went back all the way to Santiago, Isabela and went to Kalinga via Tabuk. Due to this circumstances, our team was assigned to go up to Ngibat instead of Basao. its a 2 hour hike from Maswa, where we hold our anual Medical Mission. The hike was worth it. check the view! This is a gift from my friend who got married last year. This was bought in Switzerland. It has a really cute bag( my fave color!) . The bag comes with an eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, different types of brush and liquid eyeliner.

Mara Flora

Its a fruit found in Uma, Lubuagan, Kalinga. They call it Mara Flora. I have not tasted it but I tried to google it and have not found anything written about it. If you know something dear readers, please feel free to write comments. thanks
