Went to Boracay for 3 days and 2 nights. My friends got an amazing deal with SEAIR http://flyseair.com/ for Php5000.00++ with airfare and plane fare all in. It was my first time to be in Boracay. The beach at station 1 was amazing. What we did, we stayed at La Carmela http://www.lacarmeladeboracay.com/ which was located at Station 2 and rode the tricycle to swim at Station 1. Or you can walk and check out the surroundings and the view.
While walking, people will come up to you and offer you prices for Island hopping, snorkeling etc. TIP: "tawad" is the word, prices for these activities are different if you're filipino (dapat maki-pag usap ka ng maayos). My friends and I opted for Island hopping with snorkeling all for Php 1500.00 and ATV(additional fee). Pero snorkeling pa lang happy na ako. The sea in Boracay is really rich and alive. I love the sand...malamig sa paa.
FOOD in Bora is expensive but you can opt for ANDOKS or go to D'talipapa and buy sea food and have it cooked(if you are on a tight budget, dont opt for baked tahong) I was charged Php 500.00 for 2 kilos of baked tahong. But it was really good.Tricycle is Php 10.00 per head but they also can be hired for a special fee.
